The legal profession was the catalyst in the creation of our flagship product, Transfer Pro™. This service enables an attorney to use the Internet to obtain client medical records directly from a health care provider’s database.

The process is very straightforward. Once an attorney supplies a health care provider with a client release, the provider’s office authorizes direct access to the client’s medical file. Upon authorization, the attorney is notified via email that the records are ready for access. Thereafter, the records retrieval process is essentially a point and click activity. The transfer is fully secure, HIPAA-compliant and quite simple. It takes less than 60 seconds to obtain client’s medical records using our service.

Personal injury attorneys are requested to pay an annual subscription fee and a per use fee for Transfer Pro. The annual subscription fee is $395. The per use fee is based on state regulations relating to allowable charges for medical records transfer. In Florida the charge is $1.00 per page for the first 25 pages of information transferred. The rate drops to 25 cents per for each page over the initial 25 pages. In the situation where an attorney has obtained records from a health care provider and then needs to supply the files to co counsel, the transfer process from attorney to attorney is FREE.
